SOLDIERS' MEMORIAL.
UNVEILING AT ARDMORE.' :- Ajnemorial t 0 the,seven soldiers from the district, who fell i n the war, was unveiled at Ardmcre, near Clevedon, yesterday afternoon, by Sir Frederick Lang, M,P. There was a large attendance and addresses were given by Sir Frederick Lang l 'and the Rev. D. C. Herron, of Auckland. The Rev. J. A. Thomas, of Clevedon, read the lessons and offered prayer. The sola, " Crossing tho Bar,*' was sung by Mr. J f Seaton. A large number qf wreaths were placed en the memorial by the children of the district. At the close of the ceremony a volley was fired v over the memorial by a'party of riflemen.
