FUSION PROJECT REVIVED.
A PLEBISCITE SUGGESTED.

The Austrian Chamber of Deputies has adopted a Bill to empower the Government to request the League of Nations to assent to Austria taking a plebiscite on the question of fusion with Germany. No time is fixed for the plebiscite, indicate ing that the proposal to be dependent on the outcome of the general European situation and the success or otherwise of the financial negotiations now proceeding with the Allied Powers.
