Saturday Following are Masterton remits which! will come before the conference of Agricultural and Pastoral Associations:— ''That the question of a championship show be agaijj approved, and that it be an instruction to the executive to en« deavour to arrange for an annual championship show to be held in New Zealand with or without Government subsidy; that it is essential in- the interest ot farm production that a soil survey of New Zealand be carried out, and failing a survey of the whole Dominion, a start should ba made in districts of which th e Agncnltural Department has already considerable data; and that the Agricultural Department's experts be requested to specially advise on the best use of Nauru and Ocvan ; Island phosphates in regard to ground rock or superphosphates. ''
