STRIKE IN PAPER TRADE
FURTHER MILLS CLOSING. 20,000 MEN INVOLVED. Australian and N.Z. Cable AasociatioTt. (Reed. 5.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 11. Seven large paper mills in the United States and Canada have shut down, following tJ ? failure of the employers and workers to sign new agreements. Between 15,000 and 20,000 men are now striking. The latest mills to close had an output of 4000 tons a day, comprising 60 por cent, of the entire production of .the United States and Canada.
