AUCKLAND WEST CIRCLII
The quarterly meeting of the Auckland West Circuit was held in St. John's vestrv. The superintendent, the Rev J. H. Haslan.„, occupied the chair, there being 28 delegates present The reports of the past quarter's work were, on the whole, satisfactory, and in several departments marked progress was recorded. The Rev. T. Coatsworth vaa appointed foreign mission secretary for lb* district. A hearty vote of thsnks was accorded to the Rev. W. H. Speer. who if leaving for Whangarei. for the services be has rendered during the three yeais he nas laboured in the circuit. A similar vote of appreciation ot services was passed to tne Rev W. S. Petter. who. though continuing to work in the district, has severed his connection as an official minister of the circuit.
