The Triple Labour Alliance has issued, a long manifesto accusing the Government of calculated and persistent hostility to the working classes. The manifesto asserts that the Government is not an in • partial arbitrator, but is an active, if secret, partisan, who, while speaking of peace, behaves in a manner calculated to encourage war; In addition to the calling -up of reserves, it has adopted the new and odious expedient of forming a volunteer force as an instrument against org-anised Larxur. The Government has thus assumed the grave. responsibility of provoking bloodshed and civil war".
