NORTHCOTE BOROUGH.
The Northcote Borough Council met last evening. There were present: The Mayor, Mr. A. E. Greenslade. Messrs. H. Cadness, J. B. Tonar. J. Broady. A. Hurley, A. W. Smith, and C. A~. Deuiberry. The tender of Mr. W. E. Patterson for the sanitation service was accepted, the contract to be for three years. It was agreed to meet the Birkenhead Council in conference with other local bodies concerning the evidence to be tendered before the Waterways Commission, in reference to bridging the W&item&ta.
