ACTION FOR DIVORCE.
QUESTION AS TO /' DESERTION." Legal argument was hsard before Mr. Justice Aaams in the Supreme Court yesterday,' in the adjourned undefended ease in which Violet Blanch Stewart Gow (Mr Dickson), petitioned for . divorce from Nathaniel Cameron Gow, on the ground of desertion. Counsel submitted that petitioner's refusal _to co-habit with respondent was justified in view of the lnttor's failure to maintain her and her child, his general, conduct and the fact thai he was t, convicted thief. His Honor suggested that petitioner's refusal to % live with her husband and the lattft's failure to maintain her, could hardly bo regarded as desertion on tho' husband's part. Decision was reserved.
