ADVICE TO MR. STOREY. I ' A. and N.Z. LONDON, March 13. i 1 The Financial Times, commenting on i ' the British Australian Society's request that Mr. J. Storey, Premier of New South | Wales, should receive a deputation to disi cuss the Large Holdings Subdivision Bill, i points out that the four and a-half per j cent, debentures with which it is proposed ( j that the expropriated landholders should ; i be compensated must be allotted on the j basis of market value, such bonds hot j being at par value. New South Wales ' cannot afford to overlook the effect of confiscatory legislation on its credit in London. It also suggests that it is advisable that the various interests which the Bill affects be treated not only equitably, but generously. j
