LTBERAL CANDIDATE SELECTED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Monday. The Leader of the Opposition announces that Mr. William Morrison, chairman of the Waitotara County Council, who was defeated by Mr. Powdrell in December, 1919, will be the official Liberal candidate for the Patea by-election. The Prime Minister states that the Reform Party's candidate has not yet been officially chosen. It is reported that Colonel T. W. . Mac Donald announces himself as a supporter of the Reform Party.
