MEMORIAL TO SOLDIERS.
UNVFJLTNC AT ST. MATTHEW'S. The unveiling and the consecration of the memorial areeted in St. Matthew's Church to fallen soldiers will take place to-morrow afternoon at three o'clock. The Governor-General, Lord Jellicoe, will unveil the memorial, while the Bishop of Auckland, Dr. A. W. Averill, will per form the consecration. At the morning service a brass tablet will be unveiled to the memory of the late Mr. Charles Tailby, who was a member of the church. A special service for men will be held in the evening.
