IMPORTERS' ASSOCIATION.
DIRECTORS RE-ELECTED. The annual meeting of the Auckland Importers' and Shippers' Protection Association was held yesterday afternoon at the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. T. H. Macky The annual report, a summary of which was published in the Herald on February 8, was adopted. The directors were re-elected as follows: —Messrs. T. H. Macky, R. Burns, J.- C. Entrican, H. G. Thomson, J. J. Kingston, C. W. _ Coles, and F. Renshaw. Mr. N. A. Duthie was reappointed auditor. At an extraordinary meeting held subsequently a- resolution was carried classifying members' subscriptions under three headings, large wholesale firms to pay £5 5s a year, and others £3 3s or £2 2s, according to their business standing. A confirmatory meeting was arranged. •
