j OVERCROWDING OF SCHOOL. j [BT TELKGB.APH. —OWN COEEESPONDENT.] WHAKATAKE, Wednesday. Owing to the large amount of sickness in the district only 270 out/ of 430 children on the roll attended at the school when it was reopened yesterday. There | were 43 new pupils, including 16 I for the secondary department. The ! school is altogether too small, and one class is accommodated in a hall The I committee has asked the Education Board to.sanction the use of the band room for another class.
