GANDHI'S CAMPAIGN.
MORE TROUBLE IN OUDH.
RIOTERS ATTACK TRAIN.
A. and N.Z. DELHI. Feb. 1. j Further trouble is feared at Rai Barelli, , south of Lucknow, in the province of ; Oudh, where there have been a number i of agrarian outrages during the past few | months. The disciples of Gandhi, the j leader of the non-co-operation movement, , have been showing renewed activity. At [ Faizabad, about 100 miles east of Lucknow, disaffected natives held up a train. The crowd attacked the train on the supposition that it contained an agitator who had been arrested. The rioters lay down on the railway lines to prevent the train proceeding. They stoned the police, who fired, causing several casualties. Reinforcementß have been despatched to the scene of the trouble. The unrest over land matters is spreading notably in the Rai Barelli and Agra districts, as a result of agitation by Gandhi's disciples ostensibly to secure better treatment from the landlords. The extremist journals are fanning the flame and demanding that the Government should make an investigation, while the Zemin dari class are being boycotted and are allowed neither to buy nor sell.
