ST. LEON'S CIRCUS.

St. Leon's Circus will open a season at the old dock site, Quay Street, to-morrow evening, ChrLtmaa Eve. The circus has just completed a season of nine nights at Wellington, and includes no less than 35 artists, including riders, acrobats, equilibrists, wire-walkers, equestrians and numerous aerial arid novelty act 3. Amon" the cleverest acts in the circus is a performance by five mountain sheep, the training of which is described by their traiqer as one of the hardest tasks he has ever undertaken. The riders of the winners of the Auckland Cup, to be run on Boxing Day. and the Summer Cup, ou Wednesday, will each be presented with a gqld-mounted riding whip at the evening performance the same day.
