EARTHQUAKE AT YAP.
STORM COMPLETES HAVOC. FEW BUILDINGS STANDING. A. and N.Z.—Renter. TOKIO. Deo. 21. A naval wireless message from Yap reports that a severe earthquake, followed by a severe storm, destroyed most of the buildings on the island. A gale prevailing on Thursday last developed into hurricane strength on Friday, unroofing public structures and severely damaging practically every house. Two men and a woman were killed and much stock' was destroyed. The Japanese Government is sending relief and is erecting temporary barracks for the homeless.
