RAILWAY APPEAL BOARD.

The Railway Appeal Board, presided over by Mr. E. Page, S.M., was occupied yesterday morning with the appeal of Mr. G. S. Frost, foreman at Frankton Junction, against supersession. For the appellant in the case of Mr. F. Graham, chief clerk at Hamilton, whose appeal is also based upon having been superseded in 1919. one witness was examined in the afternoon for the convenience of the parties. To-day the department will conduct its case in support of the supersession of Mr. Graham, and will be represented by Mr. J. Mason. The case is expected to occupy the whole day, or more. Mr. Graham is represented by Mr. C. R. BeU. The sittings of the board are expected to occupy at least the whole of next week, alter which the board has lengthy sittings in t£e Wellington and Wanganui districts.
