TERRITORIAL TRAINING.
OPERATION- OF NEW SCHEME. [BY TELEGBAPH.—PBESS ASSOCIATION.]
WELLINGTON, Friday. The Minister for Defence,, Sir R. Heaton, Rhodes, states.that full training for territorials under the new defence scheme will commence in 1923, but it is hoped.to. commence cadet training under the new scheme in June next. Meanwhile the training of officers and noncommissioned officers will proceed and men will be posted to units to commence training on the new basis a soon as -the complete scheme operates. The alteration 01 districts will be made early next year. j
