INJURY TO JANNESSE. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WANGANTJI. Friday. It transpires that in the third round of the Evans-Jannesse contest on "Wednesday evening Jannesse had the misfortune to break a blqod vessel in hiß right arm. At the conclusion of the round he told his second that something had gone -wrong with his arm and that he could not make proper use of it The mishap happened through Evans jumi>ing « to clinch, his head striking Jannesse hard on the biceps with the result that a blood vessel was broken. From that on Jannesse had to act mainly on the defensive, his right arm being almost useless. This explained his _ rather disappointing display. The wonder is that he kept going at all right through the remaining 12 rounds.
