PARNELL CLUB'S OPENING GALA. The Parnell Swimming Club will hold its first carnival of the season at the Point Resolution baths this afternoon. Some very well-known swimmers will compete. Wilson presided over a large attendance. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. C. J. Tunks; vicepatrons, Messrs. R. L. Stevens and W. R. Ellingham; president, Mr. W. E.
