APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES.
THE ARBITRATION COURT. [BT TELEGRATH.—OWN COEEESPOXDEXT.J WELLINGTON. Thursday. Some new appointments of judges .are to be made shortly, but it is likely that no names will be announced until after the holidays. One of the new judges' will succeed Mr. Justice Stringer as president of the Arbitration Court. This appointment will be watched with much interest since the work of the Arbitration Court during the next few years is bound to he particularly difficult. Tihe Government probably will look for a man with special qualifications to deal with the wasrea problem.
