MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

The Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister for Public Works and Postmaster-General, returned to Auckland yesterday, after his visit to the southern portion of his electorate. Mr. Coates left Auckland on Monday, motoring to Waiwera, visiting Silverdale and Puhoi en route, and inspecting the Puhoi-Tahekeroa Road and other roads during the day. On Tuesday he visited Wainui, Kaukapakapa, and Helensville. He spent Tuesday night in Helensville, leaving for Auckland yesterday morning.-Mr. Coates is to" meet deputations this morning, starting from half-past ten. He will also confer with the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, and the Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. J. Park, regarding the electric power supply. He will leave for Wellington to-day." The Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister for Education, a-rived at Napier on Tuesday nipht and attended a prize-giving at the" Bovs' High School. Yesterday morning he "received a deputation regarding educational matters and visited the Technical College and hospital. Later he left by motor-car for Wairoa.
