BRISBANE TRIMWAYS.
STATE PURCHASE DEFERRED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 3.30 p.m.) LONDON. Nov. 17. The Brisbane Electric Tramways Company, in a circular issued to its debenture stockholders, states that as the Queensland Government has not yet exercised its rights to purchase, the company is compelled to ask stockholders to postpone the redemption of debentures for three years, receiving in' the meantime 8 per centinterest, with a premium of 2 per cent, if the stock is redeemed within three years.
