A, Shrimpton (Wellington), chief engineer of telegraphs, has been fully occupied since his arrival in England with departmental business, including the shipping of materials for New Zealand. This week he has gone to Scotland in connection with his work. On his return he will go to Antwerp to call on the Western Electric Company, the makers of automatic telephones.
