THE GRENADIER GUARDS
PRINCE CONVEYS PRAISE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5. The Prince of Wales, in a speech at a dinner given by the Grenadier Guards Sergeants' Club, said that during his Empire tour he had met many " diggers," the best of fellows, who expressed great admiration of the Grenadier Guards. The latter had filled a great role in the Empire's history. He was also proud of his colonelship of the Welsh Guards. He asked the Grenadiers to welcome the Welsh Guardsmen as their younger brother.
