ANNUAL CONVENTION.
The Auckland Provincial Christian Endeavour Union opened its annual convention with a junior rally in the East Street Hall on Saturday afternoon A. varied and interesting programme was given by the juniors under the leadership of Miss Alice Rimmer. In the evening the annual business meeting was presided over by the president, the Rev. W. H. Speer, when the following officers wer 9 elected — President, the Rev. J. K„ Parsons; vicepresidents, Messrs. J. Dohertv, A. Mill and V. Hyndman ; secretary, MissWilkie •' treasurer, Miss Powell; assistant-secre-tary, Miss Patterson.
