A LOAN TO FRANCE.
£20,000,000 FROM AMERICA. AN EIGHT PER CENT. ISSUE. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Sept. 7. J. P. Morgan and Co. announce the flotation of a French loan of 100,000,000 dollars (approximately £20,000,000) at 8 per cent., to be issued at par, and to be repayable in twenty-five years at 110. France agrees to repurchase 4,400,000 dollars annually in the open market in the first five yean up to 110, and thereafter to retire a proportionate number annually by lot at 110.
