PASSENGERS AND MAILS.
50-HOUR SERVICE PLANNED. A. and N.Z. OTTAWA, Aug. 2a
It is announced that the Canadian Air Board will soon establish a trans-conti-nental air route express by means of aeroplanes. The route will give a 50-hour service between Halifax and Vancouver, a distance of about 2800 miles by air. Passengers, mail matter, and light freight will be t carried. Control stations will 1* established at intervals of 20 miles, with air-ports at all the principal cities along the route.
