CHILD'S SAD DEATH.
SWALLOWED CAUSTIC SODA [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] TTMARTJ, Saturday. A two-year-old boy named Smith/ parents were victims of the influenza epidemic, ami who was living with his aunt at _ Geraldine, swallowed caustic soda which his aunt had been using, while her back was turned. Medical attendance was obtained -and the child was brought to the hospital, where he died in the evening from shock and a burned throat.
