INFLUENZA DECREASING.
38 CASES IN 24 HOURS. Only 38 notifications of influenza, including five severe cases were received by the Auckland District Health Officer during the 24 hour*, ended at noon yesterday, as compared with 41 mild and six severe cases for the preceding 24 hours. The severe cases yesterday were reported as follows :—City, 2; Suburbs, 1; Te Puke, 2. The rftild caws were distributed as follows City, 11; Henderson, 1; Te Kuiti, 3; Waihi, 5; Morrinsville, 2; Te Puke, 7; Maketu, 2.
