CHANGEABLE WEATHER.
HEAVY SHOWERS IN AUCKLAND.
The weather throughout yesterday was changeable. In the early hours of tie morning there was a heavy, though short, fall of rain, and similar showers occurred at intervals during the day. A rainbow appeared in the eastern sky during the afternoon.
The following forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at half-past seven last evening:—The large depression Taureg embraces the whole Dominion, and is the more marked over the Soutl\ Island. Further showery and unsettled conditions are likely, with winds from between W.N.W. and S.W. Within 16 hours the barometer should be rising and winds veering southerly. Sea moderate.
