AMUNDSEN'S ADVENTURES.
VOYAGE IN ARCTIC NIGHT. (Received 7.30 p.m.) Time.. LONDON, April 30. The Times publishes a message from Captain Raold Amundsen, the Norwegian explorer, which was probably written at Christmas. Captain Amundsen describes wintering at Kolyuchin, the most northerly part of the Asiatic mainland and piercing tho Nordenskiold Sea. He was baffled by the pack-ice, and was voyaging in darkness until he reached Aion Island. _ His attempts to get into contact with Siberia were baffled by war conditions. He intends, after a visit to Alaska, to reenter the pack-ice at Wrangle Island and drill across the Polar Sea, which will probably require fivo years.
