SCOTTISH LIBERALISM.
MR. ASQUITH SUPPORTED. Auatraliin and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, April 30. An interesting meeting of the Scottish Liberal Federation has just been held, at whirh an annual report was presented containing a vigorous justification of Mr. Asquith's Liberalism, and implied criticism of the action of Mr. Lloyd George and the Coalition Liberal Ministers. Mr. Winston Churchill, who met with an unfriendly reception, and other Ministers, were present, and spoke, defending the Government's action, but the report was carried by a large majority. The meeting marks a further break between the two wings of the Liberal Party,
