ASSASSINATION THREATS. GOVERNMENT FOREWARNED. Australian and N.Z. Cable- Association. (Reed. 9.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 29. Mr. A. Mitchell Palmer, Federal Attor-ney-General, announces that revolutionaries in the United States have marked a large number of Federal State officials and other prominent men for assassination on May 1. as part of a general strike demonstration. The Department of Justice is taking all precautions to protect those whose lives are threatened. It in understood that the Communist Party and the I.W.W. are co-operating in a scheme to force the United States to recognise Soviet Russia,
