DANISH ELECTIONS.
THE KING VINDICATED.
LATE GOVERNMENT DEFEATED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 8.*5 p.m.) COPENHAGEN. April 27. The Copenhagen elections in Denmark resulted in a great defeat of the late Government resembling the defeat of Mr. Asquith's party at the last general election in Britain. The result shows that the King was correct in declaring that the former Government did not possess the confidence of the people. M. Christenden, the leader of the Moderate Lett, has been summoned to form a Government. The Moderates and Conservative* secured 76 seats against 51 retained by the Social Democrat© and Radicals.
