AN OFFER FOR BUTTER.
AT CONTINENTAL PRICES. Australian and N.Z Cable Association. (Reed. 10.30 pjn.) LONDON, April 27. The Food Ministry has informed Sir Thomas Mackenzie that the Government will pay the same price for New Zealand butter as for Danish and Dutch butter, approximating to the present retail price of 3s per lb, less incidental costs. The Australian Press Association understands that a similar arrangement is being made regarding Australian butter.
