SHORTAGE OF CEMENT.
ACUTH POSITION, IN WANGANUI. [BT TEXEGBATH.— ASSOCIATION-]
WANGANUI. Tuesday.
An acute shortage of cement exists in Wanganui, where several building contracts are delayed, and many men rendered idle in consequence. At a meeting of master builders this evening it was asserted that Wanganui had been treated unfairly by the Board of Trade in the matter of cement allocated to this district, the last consignment having come to jhand on March 7. Strong representations on the matter are to be made to the Board of Trade.
