ALLEGED ASSAULT AT SEA.
TROUBLE ON THE BEMUERA.
A murderous assault is reported to have been committed on the steamer Remuera, now en routs from Southampton to Auckland. Information to this effect was received by wireless from the steamer yesterday. The police have been instructed to arrest the alleged offender on arrival of the Remuera on Saturday morning.
