SIR ROSS SMITH'S FLIGHT.
To-day's issue of the Auckland Weekly News contains a varied collection of ranattractive pictorial subjects, which should meet with the appreciation of a wids circle of readers. > A double page is devoted to summer sports and pastimes in New Zealand, and the subject is most picturesquely dealt with. The result Victory gala at Lyall Bay, Wellington, is well illustrated by bright and pleasing pictures, whib the Victory " Mardi Gras" at Napier lei ds itself to picturesque pictorial treatment. Summer holidays oa the beaches at Wellington form the subject of a pace of very pleasing studies, while a further page deals with the recent racing carnival at Ellerslie.
