TREATY RESERVATIONS
AMERICAN PROPOSALS. OBJECTION BY PRESIDENT. Reu(er . WASHINGTON. Jan. 5, The new issue regarding the Peace Treaty is reported to have been rejected by the President, who stated that he objected violently to the proposed reservation dealing with voting power on the League of Nations. Ho declared that its adoption would disfranchise Canada, Australia and other Dominions, which would certainly protest, and'the British Government would surely support/ such protests.
