WAIHI, Tuesday
While returning to Waihi from Ratik.iti Mr. and Mr?. V.*. H. Johnston were thrown from their dog-cart owing to the horse stumbling on th<i loose metal. Mr. Johnston escaped with a few abrasions, but Mrs. Johnston was badly injured about the head, and was conveyed to the district hospital for treatment. Mr, Johnston is chief surveyor to the Waihi Gold Mining Company.
