QUESTION OF CONTROL DISCUSSED.

WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The military training of school cadets

was discussed at the Educational Conference to-day. Mr. R. J. Foss moved that the institute affirm the principle that the Education Department should control all classes of pupils held during school hours. The remit contained a reference to the military training of cadets in schools.
