A little rain has fallen in and about Waihi during the past few days, but not sufficient to materially benefit the dairy and agricultural holdings on the Waihi Plains. As a result of the lengthy dry period the grass an' l cereal crops have suffered, but the p sition is not so acute, as is the case in other farming districts in th< neighbourhood.
