THE MONOWAI. The Monowai. en route from Dunedin to Auckland via way ports, was expected to leave Wellington at 10 p.m. yesterday for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomara Bay. and Auckland. She is due here on Thursday.

CARGO FROM WELLINGTON. Arrangements are being made for the Mapounka to load * full general cargo, including transhipments ex Totua, at Wellington for Auckland. She is expected to sail in the course of a few days.

MAKURA REPORTED. Advice received from Suva states that the lloyal Mail steamer Makura. en route from Vancouver. is expected to leave there at noon on Wednesday, and is due here on Saturday. She has 365 passengers, including 218 for Sydney.

MOKOIA'S ITINERARY. The Mokoia is to leave Dunedin next Saturday. Lyttelton on Monday, and Wellington on Tuesday, for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay. and Auckland. She is due bete on January 16.

PRODUCE FROM SOUTH. ' The Katoa has been booked to load produce this week at Lyttelton and Timaru for Auckland. The Waipori is to load produce at Bluft to-morrow and then go to Oameru to complete loading for Auckland.

ARMAGH ARRIVES TO-DAY. A wireless message was received yesterday from the steamer Armagh stating that she will arrive from New York at 2 p.m. to-day. She is coming to the agency of Messrs. A. H. Nathan, Ltd., and is bringing cargo from Bristol as well a3 from New York. ,

THE PORT PIEIE. The Commonwealth aud Dominion Line steamer Port Pirie was expected to leave Sydney laet Saturday for Port Kernels to take in bunker coal. From Port Kembla she will go to Gisborne to commence loading New Zealand produce for the United Kingdom.

THE NORTHUMBERLAND. Th© Federal-Shire li;ie steamer Northumberland, en rout© from England to New Zealand, via Australian oorte, is expected to leave Sydney for Auckland to-day, and is due her© next Sunday. THE RIMOTAHA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Biniutaka. which arrived at 'Wellington from Liverpool on Sunday with troops, is under the agency of the New Zealand and African Company, Messrs. A. H. Nathan, Ltd., as regards her inward cargo. She has 6000 tons for Now Zealand, and of that amount 800 tons are for Auckland. Advice recoived yesterday stated that she ia expected to leave Wellington for Auckland on Saturday, and is due here on Monday. From Auckland she will go to Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. ,

THE BERLIN. j The ei-N.D.L. steamer Berlin is to be handed over to the P. and 0. Company for the Australia and India passenger service. She will easily bo the largest vessel flying the well-known P. and 0. flag, being of 17.324 tons gross and 9834 net, and is some 2200 tons larger than the new Naldera. She is not an old vessel by any means having been built in 1908. the same year as the popular Malwa. She is a steel twin-screw, and was built in Bremen, and was one cf the largest and most popular liners of the N.D.L. fleet. The Berlin is 590 ft 2in long, ,69ft 7in beam, and has a depth of 38ft 6in. She is fitted with electric light, refrigerated machinery, submarine signalling apparatus, and. of course, wireless, while her speed is 18 knots per hour.
