CALEDONIAN SOCIETY SPORTS.
The Auckland Caledonian Society will hold sports on the Domain on Anniversary Day, January 29. Trophies* and cash prizes to the amount of £300 are offered. Highland dancing and piping will be features. Other events include wrestling, running, tug-of-war, bicycle races, ambulance and scout events, and hammerthrowing, tossing the caber, and putting the shot. Entries close on January 15. Competitors in piping and dancing must be registered before competing. Mr. A. Thomson, 21, Carlton Gore Road, ia secretary.
