DETAILS NOT SETTLED.
EXTENSIVE TOUR IN VIEW. PERSONAL ANNOUNCEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. A. and N.Z- LONDON. Deo. 17. No definite arrangements have yet been made for the tour of Australia and New Zealand by the Prince of Wales next year. It is understood that he will travel aboard a warship. The ' announcement of his trip was made informally when presiding at a council meeting of the Hospital Fund in order to explain why he would be absent from the council meeting in May. The Prince added: "His Majesty is sending me to Australia and New Zealand, and this will necessitate my. leaving about March." The Prince will visit all the principal towns of Australia and New Zealand, including the West Australian mining districts. He will also go inland in the other States to inspect agricultural, pastoral, and other industries, and he will participate in bush sports. It is believed that the Fel-ton-Barry match will be fixed to coincide with the Prince's stay in Sydney. •
He intends to make an extensive tour of New Zealand, including the beauty spots, and will possibly cross the Pacific, returning through Canada.
