TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
DECISIONS OF THE BOARD. The board of managers of the Seddon Memorial Technical College met last evening, Mr. G. T. Murray presided, and there were also present:—Messrs. C. R. Munro, J. D. McKenzie, T. Bloodworth, and A. Harris. The director was authorised to applv to the Department of Education, through the Board of Education, fpr a refund of the cost of woodworking machinery which had been purchased out of the funds of the college. A letter was received from the Education Department in respect to the suggestion that instruction should be provided for officers of the Post and Telegraph Department at technical schools. The matter was left to the director to arrange with the Department. The salaries of the staff of the college were reviewed, and a schedule of increases for 1920 was adopted. 1
