HELP FOR POOR COLLIERIES. Australian and N.Z. Cable- Association. (Epffi. 1u.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 3. Tn the House of Commons, Sir Auckland Cleddes, President of the Board of Trade, stated that a number of collieries, owing to financial difficulties, were unable to continue to supply household coal at the re<lured prices announced by the Government. Steps had been taken to finance them, and they had been instructed to resume their normal working.
