GRADING OF TEACHERS.
PROTEST FROM DUNEDIN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Saturday. A discussion took place at the annual meeting of the Otago Educational Institute in regard to the Dominion grading scheme. It was resolved: " That this meeting of teachers emphatically protests against the very apparent want of uniformity in the standard by which the grading marks between district and district, -especially Auckland and Otago, have been granted." It was stated that the Auckland inspectors worked on a .lower standard.
