SURPRISE PACKET DAY.
A committee, comprising well-known Auckland citizens, was engaged at the Commercial Travellers' and Warehouseman's Club yesterday afternoon in distributing into envelopes the special prize coupons in connection with the " Surprise Packet Day," which the club proposes to hold to-morrow. The receipts from the sale of envelopes are to be devoted to the association's benefit and relief funds.
